What Is Solar PV?

Solar PV (photovolatics) is a type of solar panel that generates energy from the sun which is then passed through an inverter that is used by your property, thus reducing your energy bills.

To qualify for an ECO Solar PV grant, your house's main fuel source must be through electricity or renewable. Qualifying examples are:

Elecrtic Room Heaters
Electric Storage Heaters
Electric Boiler
Air Source Heat Pump
Etcetera

Unlike historic grants for ECO this is not a rent your roof scheme. You will still own your roof and you will own the solar panels attached to it.
